Hadassah’s focus on practical Zionism—Jewish body and soul as opposed to the political realm—grew out of Henrietta Szold's experience of the dismal public health conditions in Israel.

Hadassah is guided by biblical and modern-day forebears.

I have never believed more profoundly in Hadassah than I do now.

Every war Israel has fought since 1948 has been a clash with enemies aiming to destroy the country. But whatever happens, Hadassah will be ready. 

As if peace reigned in the Middle East this Hanukkah season, HMO has been serving and healing in ways that strengthen and advance a nation and all humanity.

Hadassah is embedded deeply in the Israeli heart and experience, building almost constantly since our founding.

This year on October 7, I was in Israel to share Hadassah’s support, to mourn those who were massacred, and to grieve for all that has happened since.

In good times and bad, we are conditioned to navigate parallel realms.
