Blogger and photographer Ari Seth Cohen is redefining fashion and aging. His photoblog Advanced Style, (as well as his recent book and documentary of the same name) introduces viewers to stylish, vivacious women—and a few men—all over the age of 60. Inspired by his grandmothers, in 2008, Cohen began photographing and posting images of older New Yorkers with unique sartorial flair. Over the years, Cohen’s discerning lens has gone around the globe and introduced us to such fabulous women as Lynn Dell Cohen (right), self-proclaimed Countess of Glamour, and 80-something Rita, who owns over 70 pairs of oversized fashion sunglasses.
