The Cobbler
While working with his great-grandfather’s ancient stitching machine to put new soles on old shoes, a fourth-generation shoe repairer on the Lower East Side discovers that by sticking his own feet in the repaired shoes he is instantly transformed into the owner. Adam Sandler shows he can master a serious role, but the film is marred by excessively violent scenes and failure to humanize the actor’s numerous transformations. Watch Image.
